Robin Mason
As a clinical psychologist, I have spent the past 10 years training and providing mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and Veterans, treating a wide spectrum of mental health conditions. In 2020, I graduated from Williams James College with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with an academic concentration in Military and Veteran Psychology. Throughout my doctoral education, I received formal clinical training in many evidenced-based treatment models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD (PE). I have had the privilege to work in a wide range of settings including the Woburn Public School System, UMass Lowell Counseling Center, North Shore Counseling Center, McLean Hospital – Anxiety Mastery Program. Additionally, I completed an internship and postdoctoral residency at the Northampton VA Medical Center and the Bedford VA Medical Center respectively.
Over the course of my professional career, I developed a clinical specialty in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and a variety of anxiety conditions and phobias using evidenced based treatment models like ACT, ERP, CPT, and PE. I find great meaning in helping those who suffer with these conditions by using these interventions because I have seen my client’s lives profoundly change for the better. In addition to this specialty, I am committed to treating a wide spectrum of mental health conditions for clients of all backgrounds.
